2024: A Year of Rare Adventures
Last year, The Kingdom Resort became the epicentre of excitement with the debut of the Rare Game Quad Biking Experience. Adventurous guests traversed rugged landscapes, encountering extraordinary wildlife such as the Royal Wildebeest, Red Gemsbuck, and Black Impala. Guided by expert rangers, these thrilling excursions combined heart-pounding adventure with education about the habitats and lives of these rare species.
Adding to the year's highlights, we hosted media representatives from across the country at an exclusive event at The Kingdom Resort. The day featured a captivating presentation by renowned rare animal expert JJ Mitchell, followed by immersive game drives that showcased stunning wildlife in their natural habitats. Guests enjoyed a delightful African-inspired buffet, skilfully prepared by Food and Beverage Manager Gary Smith, leaving everyone inspired and eager to share their experiences.
Over at Waterberg Game Park, the launch of the Rare Game Drive offered a unique opportunity for families and groups to connect with nature in a safe, predator-free environment. With 2,324 Rare Game Drives conducted throughout the year, guests embraced the chance to witness rare games in their natural surroundings while contributing to vital conservation initiatives.
